Inabata America's Food Division strives to bring its wholesale customers high value competitive products that will exceed consumer expectations. Acting as an outsourced Marketing, Sales and Business Development partner, Inabata continuously seeks new sources and outlets of produce and marine products.
Inabata America's Food Division primarily focuses on the following segments:
Fruits & Vegetables Inabata America utilize its strong international sales & distribution network to export fresh, organic, IQF frozen, purees, juice concentrates, freeze-dried, canned fruits and vegetables. Our main products are blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, mangoes, lemon juice and other produce from prodigious North, Central and South American producers.
BBI supplies these items to major manufacturers of jams, juices, yogurts, smoothies and muffins
Marine Products Primarily in partnership with DNI Group , Inabata America imports a variety of marine products from SE Asia. Products include, Frozen Shrimp, Soft Shell Crab, and a variety of tempura. In addition, Gyoza and Spring rolls are manufactured in the USA for distribution to our wholesaler customer base
DNI Group, L.L.C. is a joint venture between Inabata America Corporation, Devan Nielsen, and Higashimaru International Corporation (Tokyo). Under the Crane Bay™ and Passport™ brands, DNI markets Shrimp products and a Japanese-inspired appetizer line of products including Gyoza, Shumai, and Spring Rolls. DNI Group researches and development group provides authentic and high quality products for the foodservice industry.
BBI began as a grower of blueberries in the Concordia region of Argentina. BBI soon became an expert in the marketing and distribution of fresh fruit to international buyers. A joint venture partnership was formed in 2007 between IKA and BBI aimed at increasing IKA’s fresh and frozen fruit sales to manufacturers in the U.S. and Canada.
